I am a GIS practitioner with an excellent academic profile (BSc- in Geography and environmental management degree) and a proven track record in the implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) projects within State institutions, Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA KwaZulu-Natal). I am a highly focused professional with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management, technical issues, and environmental practices within the GIS and Spatial Planning field. I have effectively delivered on high profile projects that required both GIS and Environmental Management skills in the Department of CoGTA projects including Cadastral data update (Consolidation, subdivisions, ownership update, and valuation roll), and I worked on the KwaZulu-Natal Cemetery site identification project supporting KZN-CoGTA GIS unit with environmental management services which include, Site environmental sensitivity studies, environmental legal requirements for a particular site and possible environmental management plans. I have consistently managed and provided geospatial information products such as spatial analysis reports, maps, charts, presentations and etc. using advanced GIS techniques to assist local municipalities with strategic operational decisions. I am experienced in ESRI ArcGIS (10.4-10.8, and ArcGIS Pro) suites, QGIS, MS Access, MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation, and general computer literacy. I have a basic understanding of SQL.
