I have successfully graduated with a http://www.******.***: Biotechnology from the Durban University of Technology and am currently employed as a Laboratory Technician at Clover. I also periodically stand-in for the current Head of Laboratory and have done so for long periods. My work experience ranges from Microbiological to Analytical Chemistry analysis, as well managing the Microbial, Chemical and Effluent Laboratories on two different sites. I am also actively involved in trouble shooting problems by root cause analyses (5 Why’s, Brainstorming), investigations of non-conformances, data processing and capturing, trending and report writing. My function also serves as a support function to general QA activities including internal/external auditing (IQS auditing course attended) and training. I am involved in maintaining product quality standards by conforming to ISO 9001 procedures, general GMP’s and GLP’s, HACCP and calibration maintenance of Laboratory equipment.
