Semakaleng Kganyago is a self-motivated and independent graduate with good analytical and leadership skills. I am well organized with good communication skills. Innovative and eager to learn new skills and meet new challenges that allows for both professional and personal growth. I have a strong interest in the field of chemistry with a focus on its social and environmental impact and therefore pursued this interest through my Mtech research. I have one year six months experience in mining industry (Idwala lime mine) where I was trained to be a Lab-technician and Lab-analyst as part of my practical work experience towards obtaining a National Diploma in Chemistry. I have presented part of my work in several conferences one of which was South African Nanotechnology Initiative Symposium that was held at Mintek in November 2016 and TUT in November 2017 and won the first and second price for oral presentation. I have also mentored and judged at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists. I have gained some basic experience of several analytical techniques which include among others the following: 1. Ultraviolet visible spectroscopy 2. Photoluminescence spectroscopy 3. HPLC
