Hi, my name is Sergio Santos and I'm a multi-talented professional. At my previous position I was employed as a projects coordinator / projects administrator, for a med/large sized fibre installations company, Lightfibre. Here at Lightfibre Infrastructure, we specialised in working mainly in civil construction and including fibre installation and commissioning. These were large scale projects and extremely technical. Spanning a distance from Durban through to Cape Town. My role was as projects coordinator / administrator which is thoroughly lined out in my CV. Previously in my electrical and projects management career, I’ve taken on both technical and managerial type roles/titles, and have shifted between various responsibilities, such as: Estimating, Design, Manufacturing, Quality Control, as well as, Project Management. I’ve always meticulously applied the best fundamental principles and practices learned through all my years of experience, building solutions and applying them to the development of all processes within all my projects I have experience with the management of people and resources, installation and supervision of personnel, commissioning of various pieces of equipment, along with coordinating multiple project management & technical design roles within many different environments, such as mining, waste water management, etc., and across multiple project phases, i.e. project scoping, prefeasibility stage, feasibility stage, detailed design, procurement, project and construction management, handover and operational support. I’m familiar with multiple aspects of electrical design, having been responsible for design and electrical designs for waste water treatment plants, for companies such as Rand Water Board, also working on mining plants i.e., Kumba Iron Ore, Sishen Mine, for their Electrical Expansion Project, and facility optimisation, as well as, technical support for various projects and many different clients, here in South Africa as well as abroad, namely Mozambique, Angola, and Countries in North West Africa as well. I'm passionate about working with people and consider myself a key contributor to working as a team member. I'm meticulous in all that I commit to undertake and am continuously striving for personal and overall betterment in every aspect of my professionalism.
