My name is Sesi Fortune Mabena, born in Pretoria and staying in Pretoria. Started working back in 1989 as an assistant Librarian at CSIR based in Pretoria. Mainly involved administration and inter lending with other libraries nationally. This includes working at the former Transvaal National Library from April 1991 to August 1993. Gathered experience and also studies towards Library Science at UNISA, I also moved and worked in Eskom Head office Library independently, specialising in inter lending with national and British libraries. I then changed career as Eskom offered an opportunity in the Supply Chain Management and started to acquire the qualification and loved the new career path. I now have qualifications in Supply Chain Management, finishing my Advance certificate in Supply Chain Management with the last module registered in January 2021. I have spent most of my career years as an administrator/procurement officer and buyer (19 years). I am well versed in office administration and software application together with competitive knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel and Power point) and SAP. Achievements: Project Management Certificate and cost savings in a group Sports project at Eskom worth R1 million, saving more than R400 000.00 and achieving the goals set for that project. Adding to all my achievements is that I have a clean record, I was never dismissed or implicated in any fraudulent cases in my entire working/career paths. My current involvement includes assisting events management with our internal and external stakeholder department in the region. (Working with the communications manager) Unfortunately SABC is currently retrenching and willing to continue sharing my skills and grow my career since I am still strong and willing to transfer the skills I have to the coming generation.
