I have acquired laboratory experience and management skills by teaching genetics to third year students, assisting the presiding lecturer on lessons in the class, marking and assessing student’s evaluations and assisting third year students with genetics practical techniques e.g. blood type and gel electrophoresis. In addition, I have acquired research skills such as article review, report writing and presentation skills, data analysis software’s, MEGA, BLAST, NCBI, Microsoft office, DNA extraction, Agarose gel electrophoresis, Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, Polymerase chain reaction, NANO DROP, Chromatographic techniques and SOPs. I am detail oriented and thorough in my work.
