I am now an Audit Manager at Tuffias Sandberg gaining post articles experience While being at Tuffias Sandberg I have enhanced my skills in Accounting, Tax, Auditing, Management Accounting and Finance. My goal is to achieve the Chartered Accountant status. Through my work experiences, I have developed a solid understanding and foundation of the accounting and audit function. I have also developed a key understanding of the reconciliation and analytical process from accounting error/ incorrect accounting procedures to the correct accounting treatment through my work experience as an auditor. I have also developed the ability to “think outside of the box”, an analytical methodology of thinking and performing, and to be innovative. I am a team player and work well in a group. As I am an Audit Manager, I am required to lead and mentor teams and bring out the best abilities in other team members. Some of the characteristics I would use to describe myself would be ambitious, efficient, broad-minded, enthusiastic, composed and competitive. My work experience combined with my academic achievements, aspiring academic and career goals and character traits make me highly suitable for this position. Investment Banking is a challenging career and I will indeed learn a lot through the experience as the learning curve in investment banking is very steep and I want to learn a lot and take on new challenges. I have always been interested in corporate finance. I would enjoy working in investment banking because mergers and acquisitions transactions affect whole industries, and I will have the opportunity to make a real impact.
