I am a young, motivated and highly ambitious individual looking to expand my knowledge and grow alongside the innovative pharmaceutical industry. I am nearing the end of my second year in retail pharmacy. The medical field has always been of great interest to me as my mother is a nurse, so I was exposed to it from a very young age. I have a passion to do more than what is expected of me in both my personal and professional life. My ambition, my work-ethic and my constant passion to learn more makes me believe that I will be a great fit to such an environment. I am a fast learner and love to keep busy. I am organised and have a strong ability to multi-task and grasp new concepts. I am good at communicating and pride myself in my empathetic nature and my need to outperform what is expected of me. This comes from my many years as a sportswoman which included provincial swimming and hockey, which is where I learned the importance of dedication and hard work.  Retail pharmacy has been a good introduction to pharmacy and a great learning curve. I have become confident with Unisolv, analysing prescriptions and noting any interactions, working with various Microsoft programs, understanding how stock is received and the importance of valuable and knowledgeable advice given to patients as well as great patient-centred care.  I am looking for a transfer to a different province where I can be apart of a new environment that allows me to grow in all aspects of my life.
