I currently have 4 years’ experience working in Local Government for the City of Cape Town. The following are roles performed by myself: Logistical and Admin support to the Junior City Council (JCC) Youth Program. This role requires me to handle transport logistics and assist with maintaining & updating the records of the 160 students, maintain the JCC Facebook page. I also assist with coordinating the recruitment process of the JCC term, end of term certificates process and the end of term banqueting arrangements. Councilor Support Department: HR Time Administrator is also another function I have been performing for the past 3 years where I supervise and provide support to the departments 80 staff and on occasion the Ward Clerks. Part of this function also includes me compiling the monthly Time and attendance: Decisions taken by the Manager report. Finally, assisting to maintain the office stationery store is another function performed as well as placement of orders for the Councilor Support department & MAYCO members’ offices on the SharePoint site for procurement. Academically I have completed a course in Financial Management at UNISA whereby I achieved an 81% distinction pass for Module 1 (Intro to Financial Management) and a 91% distinction pass for Module 2 (The Management of Working Capital_Short term). Currently I’m busy with a NQF Level 4 PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION learnership with completion scheduled for this December. My versatility in the various fields from the duties performed above makes me the ideal candidate worth serious consideration
