With over 27 years of experience in the industry, both nationally and internationally, I have worked across residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems and have an advanced working knowledge of all technical components. My experience has included maintenance, fault finding, panel wiring, construction and installation, transformer yards, substations, switch rooms and yards, earthing, primary and standby generator, testing and commissioning, management of other electricians and subcontractors, materials ordering and receiving, reading and interpretation of specifications and drawings, red lining of drawings to “as built” status, OHS and QA documentation, and liaison with all disciplines, foremen, project managers and others within the construction and manufacturing industry. I possess a City and Guilds of London Institute Certification Part One and Part Two in Electrical Installation Work. Over the years, I have gained not only technical expertise but also solid experience in project management, including bookkeeping and equipment maintenance. I am a qualified class 1 Electrician. I have advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations, and a working knowledge of the MS Office package which includes MS Projects. My years as an apprentice and with PG Bison as a shift electrician have given me a firm foundation and a good understanding of plant maintenance in the electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic and pneumatic fields as well as Cummins / Iveco / Scania Diesel Generators engines. I am an organized and committed leader, as well as a strong team player. I have a proven track record of delivering excellent work to tight deadlines, and I pride myself on the quality of my work.
