My career started in the retail sales field at an Edgars store. I then moved into the Print/Advertising/Publishing industry as an apprentise photolithographer. After completing my 3 year apprenticeship I worked as a designer and layout/finishing artist at Unifoto. I progressed in the industry and became a Production manager/planner. I gained several years experience within the Print/Advertising/Publishing industry before moving to a management consultancy where I was employed as their Operations/Production head. Here I managed the end to end process of all products developed and managed a team of around 21 people. I also managed suppliers, freelancers and contractors. I have also studied further, in 2012 I completed a project management course at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and in 2016 I completed a Post Graduate diploma in Management practice at UCT's Graduate School of business. In addition to my everyday function I also ran and managed the CSR for the organisation and managed the facilities and any upgrades to the offices.
