Shonisani Brenda Musindane is a former SAA Flight Attendant, a peer crew member counselor, and an independent thinker, well organized, determined, and ambitious. She has good command of English, both written and spoken. Working with diverse individuals made her tolerant, patient, empathetic, and a hard worker. She is well travelled, during her tenure as a flight attendant, she has travelled to 39 countries locally and internationally. She observed and respected the protocols and abided by the laws of those countries she travelled. She is trained in first aid aviation medicine, aircraft safety, passenger handling (hospitality), firefighting, dangerous goods handling, ditching, and evacuation on land or water. She has extensive experience in customer service – greeting passengers when they board and exiting the plane, dealing with on board emergencies, demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures, serving meals and refreshments on board, supplying newspapers and magazines on board, selling beverages on board, including alcohol. She holds a matric certificate (Grade 12), a certificate in Personnel Management from Wits University (formerly known as Wits Tech or TWR), and a certificate in International Trade from the International Trade Institute of Southern Africa and has a code 8 driver’s license and owns a car.
