Dear Sir/Madam I am a 46 year journalist with more than 18 years of media exposure in both Journalism and Public Relations industry. I have worked as a journalist, News Editor, Sub-editor in the newspaper and Television industries plus as a Public Relations Manager in the corporate world and Non-governmental organisations. I have been employed in both main stream and community media. I have served as Editor of 1KZNTV for four years from the channel’s inception until our content qualified for Dstv status. The Channel can be watched on channel 261. I also served as Weekend Assignment Editor of eNCA. I also had a short subbing stint at the now defunct The Newage Newspaper. Apart from that, I also subbed for The Independent Media group’s flagship newspaper, The Star. I also worked for renowned papers like Sunday Times, City Press, The Sowetan and Daily Sun. I hold a National Diploma in Mass Communication, good Cambridge University Ordinary and Advanced level passes and at the verge of completing my Honours Degree in Media Studies at Witwatersrand University. I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new lessons every day. Writing and reading are my hobbies. I can’t think of anything I could do with my life except writing, editing or communicating. I enjoy interacting with people at different levels. Above all, I am an excellent presenter and very comfortable with the podium or mike.
