• Chair Health and Safety committee. • Ensure that nomination, election and appointment of Health and Safety reps. • Conduct Occupational Health and Safety information sessions. • Conduct physical inspections and audits to determine levels of compliance with OHS Act. • Conduct regular OHS training needs analysis in conjunction with the Head. • Do Hazard identification. • Develop safe operation procedure according to job specification. • Conduction incident investigation and make recommendations to prevent recurrences of similar incidents.
