I am currently finishing my PhD research in chemistry. Where I work with improving the efficacy of antimalarial drugs. During my PhD, I also had the opportunity to mentor students. I worked with the student closely and training her in good laboratory practice and guiding the student in report writing and oral presentation. I always known that I love research, but being close with the two honours students has taught me that I also love teaching about science. I was constantly inspired by the progress and the enthusiasm of the students in the time I spend with them. People always say I am a good teacher, therefore in 2019 I joined teachme2 tutoring in Pretoria. Where I tutored university of Pretoria chemistry students. This did not only give me an extra money on the side but also gave me an opportunity to work with first year students who are always curious and asking questions. I also participate in community related project, mentoring of young girls is my passion and recently joined girls4girls and also mentoring challenge.
