I am a qualified professional engineering technician with over fifteen (19) years of experience in the electrical engineering services within Transmission, Distribution, Reticulation, consulting, and construction sectors. I am currently holding a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (HC) and registered with ECSA. I am also studying toward obtaining my BTech in Electrical Engineering (HC) which I expect to complete in 2021, and I am a registered Professional Engineering Technologist. My experience includes but not limited to 11KV - 400KV network having to work in network design, maintenance, commissioning and testing, construction, and operations. With my experience in the substations and lines, I feel this opportunity will not only open a chance for myself to grow but also to be an asset to company while transferring my skills and knowledge. Having work with Eskom and other Municipal standards and policies, I think this electrical engineering position will gives me the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge not only servicing customers but also to other colleagues. I am currently self-employed and I have run a sustainable company despite all economic challenges. Therefore, my experience in the power engineering, I think I am a suitable candidate for the position.
