A multi-award-winning author of children's books, drama, novels, short stories and poetry, I have nine books under my name. Books number ten, eleven and twelve may be out soon. I have over ten years of experience freelancing for the National Library of South Africa as an isiXhosa reviewer, editor and proofreader, over five years with a self-publishing house editing and proofreading isiXhosa and English manuscripts. Also, over three years of experience translating documents from Afrikaans/English to isiXhosa for the Cape Agulhas Municipality from 2009-2013. I currently offer freelance services as a versioner, editor and proofreader for an NPO working on children's books, Grades 1-3 since October 2022. Besides these institutions, I work with individual authors editing and proofreading their manuscripts, and occasionally facilitate creative writing workshops.
