I completed my honours degree in 2017 at the University of Pretoria and I have been working in the industry for four years. I started my in-service training at Farrow Laing Quantity Surveyors during my first year of honours. After two years and completing my honours degree the opportunity arose to join Henry Riley Consulting. I have worked on a wide variety of projects and different sectors, including: leisure, commercial & industrial, retail, residential, civil works, refurbishment and tenant fitout; both in South Africa and in other parts of Africa. I’ve worked on projects in Guinea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia. During my time at both these companies I had opportunities to be involved in various aspects of the quantity surveying profession and gained valuable experience. A position at your company will be a slight shift from my current role, but I firmly believe that my experience, qualification, and personality make me an excellent candidate for your team.
