I am an Intern Metallurgical Engineer at SCAW Metals Group looking to advance my knowledge and skills in the field of minerals processing. During my internship period, I have managed to improve my creative problem solving skills and critical thinking skills through engaging in failure investigations of steel products and handling of customer complaints; which also entails report writing. I have also gained more knowledge in metallurgical processes from my studies for my Honours degree. Through interacting and working with individuals from different ethnical and cultural backgrounds in industry, I have sharpened my interpersonal skills, mastered emotional intelligence and stress management. I have therefore become an excellent team player. My future goal is to put my skills to use and gain more experience in the mining and minerals processing fields.
