Dear Madam/Sir, I am 58 and has been working on SANRAL projects in the RSA since January 2010. Before then I worked in Botswana in 2008 and the University Of Zimbabwe Civil Engineering Laboratories as Senior Technician. My duties were working for Matrolab (Pty) Ltd were Site Laboratory Management as well as training and assessing material testers and Trainee Technicians and Engineers on Materials testing and applications. This included liaison with The Resident Engineer , the Construction Project Managers and SANRAL officers on Quality Management , Materials assessments , testing and evaluation of results on work progress. I hold a Diploma in Construction Engineering and a Certificate In Structural Engineering from the Harare Polytechnic , a Diploma in Project Projects and Management from CCOSA among other qualifications as outlined in my attached CV. I am currently studying Civil Engineering at Diploma Levels 3 and 4 with UNISA I am TMH , TRH , TG , UTG , Colto , SABS 1200 and SANS conversant and I hold a Laboratory Systems Certificate from SANAS. I have experience with concrete , earthworks , pavements and seals as I worked on a Batch Plant for a year as Site Laboratory Manager. I will be grateful if you give me the opportunity to attend an interview.
