My name is Tebogo Raphiri; I have completed my B-tech qualification at Tshwane University of Technology. Having completed a variety of exploration projects in the field, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of geological mapping and the collection of field data, coupled with the ability to interpret and modelling it. This has fostered a keen interest in all aspects of mining and resources processes, including open pit investigations, drilling, exploration design, sampling, sample handling, quality control, ore and waste mining and planning as well as writing reports. Been involved in the running, co-ordination and management of projects in the company formed an integral basis of my knowledge. I work well as a member of a team but am also confident in assuming responsibility for tasks autonomously. Through my previous work in geophysics and currently in mining and exploration, I have gained excellent communication and interpersonal skills, field adaptation along with the ability to solve problems and handle challenging situations. I am conscientious, hardworking, and a good communicator and am particularly interested in enhancing my skills as a geologist in an institution that encourages very high standards of personal development.
