My name is Thabang Kubjana and I have a Bcompt Accounting Sciences Degree. I was a lead auditor and the position of leading an audit has led to the exposure, and understanding of performance information and monitoring and skills development Act and the SETA environment, COIDA just to name a few. I have an extensive experience within the public sector and I have conducted PFMA and MFMA audits for the following clients: Compensation fund, Department of Labour, Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Sheltered Employment factories, FP&M, ETDP SETA, Pseta, Bankseta, SEDA and Mogalakwena Local Municipality. This also included conducting SETA project visits, where I was responsible for the visits in the Free State province. I was part of the SCM task team for the National F business unit for the 2016/17 year and also part of the Employment equity committee. I was also part of the Trainee Auditor forum (TAF) during 2014/15 year. I have gained knowledge and experience in the accounting and auditing field especially in Mandatory grants, discretionary grants, levies, commitments and performance information. I have the ability to work under pressure and in diverse environment; being an advantage in such an ever changing environment.
