As a recent graduate at the Independent Institution of Education, Rosebank College, where I attained an overall distinction qualification in the field of Information Technology in Support Services, I am committed to growing a prosperous career in it. I have since worked in two environments that deal with technical support and the assistance that goes with help desk support. One environment being the Rosebank College Information Centre, where I was the assistant librarian, assisting fellow students with online resources; logging into computers; providing the necessary materials to conduct research; updating upcoming campus events; as well as maintaining a clean and sound environment to work in. My second position was being a Junior IT Technician at a prosperous Computer Repair shop merged with an Internet Café, this is where under the guidance of my mentor I learnt a more in-depth and practical side of computers and telecommunications. In this position I conducted hardware repairs of electronics; learnt to diagnose issues and find solutions; install and upgrade software; etc. My roles in both these positions brought productivity in these environments as I consider myself to be of value in the task I am assigned.
