Thabo Brendan Vilakazi represents an inquisitive, determined, hardworking individual who is goal orientated and mission driven. His high school years were spent at Bloemfontein high school in the Free State from 2008 to 2012, after which he pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Conservation Ecology at the University of Stellenbosch from years 2014 to 2019. While pursuing this degree, he took on practical vacation work under MH Environmental Consultants (Free State) from years 2015 to 2017 as a junior research assistant. His duties at the firm mainly comprised of compiling, sorting, interpreting and presenting the company’s raw data (crop growth, NEMA reports, Basic & Cumulative Impact Assessments) to seniors under the head of research’s supervision and guidance. The level of experience he has gained in the consulting workplace with regards to the environment, it’s legislation and research processes is thus sufficient and well above the required standard of workmanship, making him a beneficial addition to any practice/institution. He learns and adapts, he is charismatic and respectful to others, and he gets the job done. While seeking employment at the moment, he also aims to obtain a MSc in the environmental field and have himself registered as a candidate natural scientist with SACNASP.
