I’m an organised, presentable and approachable person who is always willing to assist and learn from other colleagues. I hold a Degree in Corporate Administration, National Diploma in Accounting, Certificate in Management Accounting and Finance and a driver’s license. My work experience includes being an Assistant Project Coordinator, HR Assistant, Warehouse Assistant & General worker, Receptionist all these positions held at Independent Electoral Commission (IEC). I also had the privilege to assist Station Managers at Ukhozi FM under SABC as a Secretary. I also worked as an Office Administrator for Trade and Investment KwaZulu Natal. My longest term as an employee was served at Zurich Insurance Company working as Policy Administrator for four years. I am highly effective in Diary Management, travel arrangements, welcoming and directing visitors, scheduling appointments, report writing, answering and forwarding telephone calls, and compiling and typing mail and correspondence, coordinating events, organizing meetings. In addition, I am well-versed in photocopying, scanning and distributing materials, setting up and maintaining office filing systems, time management as well as maintaining records. Having 5 years+ of administrative expertise had allowed me to build on my skills in managing multiple tasks at one time and being adaptable to unpredictable scenarios and challenges. I also possess considerable knowledge in working with computer software programs such as SAP, Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, as well as Lotus Notes). I’m able to learn new programs and customized software quickly to increase efficiency and productivity. I acquired a good understanding of government principles and practices, planning, records management, confidentiality and wide-ranging administration.
