I am well educated women that passed with merit my matric at Dysselsdorp Secondary School. After school I took a gap year and went to work at Dysselsdorp Aftercare Centre as a receptionist and admin clerk. After a year of working and gaining skills I worked at Game Stores at their Customer Care Department. I did a variety of courses, one of them was Management Assistant at NCC where I got the opportunity to work as a receptionist after completing the course successfully. It developed my skills such as administrative, organizing, planning, communication, management, customer relations and problem-solving. Furthermore I went to work at Oudtshoorn Inn at the Housekeeping department. In 2013 I studied at Unisa Household Food Security National Certificate NQF Level 5. This however brought the opportunity to be recruited by UNISA as a Facilitator that enabled me to develop my Leadership skills. I completed my accredited Facilitator and Assessor Certificate with Training Answers to ensure that I have the necessary qualifications. Another opportunity arises when the WCED recruited me as a Care and Support Facilitator to develop and work on my organizing, planning, problem-solving and budget skills. This also enabled me to work with learners from Gr. 4 – 7, facilitating different topics and help them with their academics. Being situated in the library helping them with their reading abilities was one of the things I did. I obtained my computer skills at Dysselsdorp e-Centre where I work and facilitate basic computer literacy, e-Learner and manage the centre as Centre manager. Furthermore besides studying and working I am also involved in the community by doing awareness campaigns working with teenagers and young adults. This is to help them develop their skills and change their mindsets to a positive, constructive and goal orientated one. I consist of a wide variety of skills that I obtained over the years. I also worked with a lot of people of different age groups, cultures and backgrounds. This helped me to be humble and understand as well as appreciate certain things in life. Besides being positive and educated I am willing, eager, goal driven, ambitious, reliable, honest, passionate and a fast learner.
