I am a recent graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and honours in Environmental Science. I believe my education and subsequent practical experience at the university qualify me. In addition to my qualifications, I have worked on a student vacation apprenticeship programme at the South African Sugarcane Research Institute (SASRI) with a focus on biocontrol, and also as a student tutor at UKZN in environmental science and geography-based modules. I believe I am qualified, and I match and willing to offer more than what is expected. My desire to learn and grow is the reason I am seeking this steppingstone in my professional career as a future expert in the environmental science/management field, as well as for my entrepreneurial aspirations as I believe that for me to be successful in either, I need this opportunity to serve as a proving ground. I always have been a very versatile and forward thinker, I realised this during my university career where I was able to adapt to new environments such as online learning in 2020, where I was able to excel, especially in my research. I consider myself to be a highly motivated and diligent young black male. I am a well-versed individual who is dedicated, punctual and committed to working to the best of my abilities. And I have the willingness and desire to make a positive impact within my environment and as well as around my community.
