I hold a Bachelors degree in Law, and have over fourteen years of legal experience. I have worked in the private sector and public sector. I was employed as a legal advisor at the Department of Justice, in the Contract Management Division as well as the Litigation Department. I was also appointed as a co-opted legal advisor for the Bid Adjudication Committee. During my tenure I managed over 500 contracts and dealt with small and large contracts ranging from 10 million to 2,5 billion rand contracts, this included drafting, negotiating, reviewing and supplier performance.
