I started my career in sales in 1996 as a counter salesman at MAB auto body in the sales of automotive paint and related products. In 2000, I started work at Grandmark International as a telesales representative being in control and achieving company target parameters and received extensive training in warehouse management. After Grandmark International I furthered my career in sales of various products ranging from paint to industrial equipment at Brent Auto Colour. I oversaw sales, warehouse dispatch and managing of the sales team based in Benoni. After Brent Auto Colour merged with Cowley automotive, I joined the team at The Colour Dot, and had complete responsibility of the stock control, sales management, sales and meeting of targets set by myself and Company management. I have taken up the challenge of a career change and thus have enrolled in various courses relating to Health and Safety Management. My four courses namely: Health and Safety Representative, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and SHEQ Risk Management (MSRM), Root Cause Analysis Technique (RCAT), I passed Cum Laude. My experience extends from automotive paints, parts and glass. I have 12 years working experience in the Sales industry and have acquired skills applying to Pastel Accounting and various Microsoft Applications. I am an employee of SGB-Cape, currently working on the Kusile PowerStation project in Mpumalanga as a Construction manager. I have however filled positions in the company ranging from Depot manager in Rustenburg, Site manager for the Sasol FTWEP project in Sasolburg and Safety officer on the FTWEP project. I also have enrolled at UCT to further my studies in Construction management. Aviation is also of great interest to me.
