I hold a 3 years BA Communication Science (UFS) specializing in English, Media studies and Journalism. I also have an NQF level 4 Certificate in People's Management (SGWC). I have completed training in news editing (Kovsie FM), customer service and project management (Central Business Academy). I have volunteered at a community radio Station as a reporter, news bulletin compiler and news blog administrator. I have experience in leadership and administration from working as a Supervisor for the Extra School support programme of the Gauteng Department of Education. I have completed a Communication Internship programme at The Gauteng Department of Social Development dealing with Internal and external communication, Media liaison and Strategy as well as marketing and branding plus offering administrative support to deputy directors and compiling weekly and monthly reports. I have also completed a content writing internship with Opera News SA. My recent work experience also include working for Discovery limited as a Marketing Assistant, Creating Digital forms using Discovery DIsigner and implementation of minor website updates (bio's, events updating and firm news uploading. I have good communication skills, both writing and verbal, with the ability to express myself in three South African languages. I am computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft office package, capturing, typing, email and internet and general knowledge of digital and social media. I have a positive attitude, with the ability to work alone and with a team.
