I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in the field of Accountancy and a Bridging Programme in Theory of Accounting, both obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Through my academic career I have been fortunate to have acquired my knowledge and life changing experiences. I have held leadership roles in assignments. I lead a team in the UJ GR8Deb8 (Great Debate) assignment. In this assignment we had to debate with another group of classmates and my team performed very well and the mark for the assignment reflected that, at 70%. The other was the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Challenge. This challenge was not a school project but an extramural activity I undertook with my friends. We were given R1m of virtual money and had to invest and grow it. The Johannesburg Stock Exchange Challenge gave me valuable competencies such as team dynamics with friends, financial management and the workings of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and also afforded me the opportunity to use my university education in a more practical setting. During the 2018, we were given a PwC assignment. The assignment was an integration of all my final year modules and was a simulation of real world auditing. My team was ranked within the top 5 in the class and was called to present our findings of the audit to PwC. In February of 2018, I was head hunted by the University of Johannesburg to tutor Financial Management to second and third year students. I also served as the bookkeeper of Mthonza Creative Arts and Crafts in Mokopame, Limpopo since 2019. The knowledge and skills I have obtained during my studies and in my differing professional roles make a worthy candidate and my determination to always strive for excellence make me the ideal candidate. I strongly believe I am great hire and will not disappoint.
