I am writing this letter as a personal reference for Mr. Tyron Zoutman. I have worked with Tyron for the past 2 years as his Program manager and direct supervisor. I have come to know Tyron as an artistic individual who is hard working and strives to exceed all expectations. His ability to bring out the best in his students is indicative of his creative, enthusiastic energy. As a lecturer, choreographer and Theatre Practitioner Tyron is capable of problem solving and conceptualizing and his level of dedication to the students is commendable. Along with his talent, Tyron is inspired by challenges and not intimidated by them. Tyron is a team player and a valuable asset to our Performing Arts Department. I confidently recommend Tyron for any position he applies for and am assured that he will be a beneficial addition to the organization. I am the only son of a single mother and the breadwinner. I have an extremely loving and supportive parent and we are a very close-knit family. My father is a lawyer and my mother is an actress. As a huge family we get together every Christmas at my aunts-house who raised me I Piketberg. We are a very creative family. At School I was very involved with school activities. I played tennis for the first team. I was head cheerleader coach two years in a row and was actively involved with cultural activities. Also flew to Germany for a choir tour. I also was dance captain for the company WCMEA After high school I went to Northlink College to study Drama. I learned the skill of hard work, pursuing long hours and dedication very quickly. I was involved with acting, set design, costume making and technical. I got the opportunity to work with amazing producers and directors and won a Special Achieve Awards of Contribution to all Spheres of The Arts and Best International Student Award 2012, while competing against 58 countries around the globe. During this time I worked part time also for Northlink College. In 2012 I did my final year and specializes in all genres of the Art. As part of this I wrote and directed my own plays. I also taught First year and Second year Dance and movement at Northlink College. I successfully completed my diploma, Cum Laude. I enjoyed my teaching at the College and consequently decided to teach after my studies. I was employed at the College as Movement and Drama teacher in 2013. This was an extreme challenge and utterly rewarding. I had a really tough first week. We ended up respecting and enjoying each other, and I achieved great results. I ended up attracting children to my course and numbers grew from year by year. Teaching these special children was with-out doubt the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my whole life at that point. Making a difference in children’s lives is an unbelievably great feeling. What I have learned during this time is priceless. I am a very hard and dedicated worker, I work hands-on and I built up the business to be a great success on my own! In 2012 I started my own company that caters for up and coming artist Zoutman Dance Company en Lekker Jy? Produksies/Production. I love the children of our futures. So let us cater for them to reach their dream. Thus, the combination of my urge to explore new cultures, my utterly creative and hard working nature, my love for people and children, my desire to teach again, and almost 9 years of teaching experience, is what will make me an excellent teacher/Mentor abroad
