I am a qualified IT Specialist (Technical and Network Support), recently finished my contract working and specializing in Technical Support (both backline and field). I have worked at a big corporation supporting a major business application / system which is used in all nine provinces and even some other countries in Southern Africa. Personally I have provided technical support to users in Gauteng, Western Cape, Mpumalanga and the North West and I have also provided Field Support and Deployment to sites located in Gauteng as I was stationed in Midrand. I have also worked closely with the Help desk teams and assisted with logging calls and first line troubleshooting. I have experience with Services Level Agreements from University and my previous job, and a basic but functional knowledge of the ITIL framework from my University studies (IT Management module). From my time studying IT management and IT project management in University, I am also competent at: report generation, verbal and written communication, presentations, people management, task management, time management, cost management and scope management. These are skills I continue to apply to both my life and job respectively.
