In addition to varied and extensive experience in commercial law, I also have experience in all aspects of small and medium enterprise development - including legal processes, financial coaching (budgeting etc), risk assessments and ancillary advice. I have worked in both legal practice (from 1997 to 2006) and commerce (2007 to present). Whilst practising, I gained experience in insurance law, banking law, general civil litigation, commercial litigation and corporate governance. Whilst working in commerce, I have gained experience in legal advising, legal structuring, corporate governance, company secretarial, BBBEE advising, risk management, fund management, business development advising and most recently I am gaining experience in employee remuneration and benefits practice as well as expat contracting and international assignment practices.
