I have completed Bachelor of science in cellular biology and Genetics in 2016 I have finished it on record time (3 years) and I a Bachelor of Science Honours ( Genetics: Cum-Laude ). I am a junior postgraduate student currently doing a second-year master’s degree in Master Of Science (Medical Science ) ( Medical Microbiology ) waiting for my result from examination at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Westville campus). I am a quick learner and an extremely motivated person. I possess a high perseverance level and I am very ambitious. I am a peoples’ person and those who know me say I am courteous, light-hearted, friend, enthusiasm co-worker and resourceful student. I have proven on numerous occasions that I can work independently and in a team. In terms of interpersonal communication, I am a good team player and eager to assist whenever possible. I am also very considerate of others needs and I can analyse different opinions and take the lead when necessary. Lastly, I am good at persuading others by creating relationships based on mutual trust and http://www.******.*** my honours and my master’s degrees, I started demonstrating and being a teaching assistant for undergraduate second years genetics, Biochemistry and microbiology modules (GENE 240 & RDNA 202, BIOC 202, GENE340 and MICR 213). I believed that the skills and experience that I have gained while doing my Honours degree and through demonstrating make me an ideal candidate to participate as a laboratory technician since I have developed strong laboratory skills, writing and editing skills. I have an experience as i worked as a Residence Assistant and this helped me a lot on how to deal with people, teamwork, public speaking as well as writing of residence report. I believe that my experience as a demonstrator makes me a suitable candidate. I strongly believe I can perform well all the delegated duties and tasks and I will be able to combine my academic knowledge as well as my practical experience to perform the required duties.
