I am a Chemical Engineer by profession and obtained my degree in 2007 from Wits University, Johannesburg. I also hold a Certificate in Management Development from Wits Business School as part of the Coca-Cola Kusile Management Trainee program. I have a total combined full time working experience of 8 years, where my primary role was driving process improvement projects and process optimization in the capacity of a Process and Project Engineer working for SAB Miller, Coca-Cola SABCO, Marley Pipe Systems and Sasol. My primary role in all the projects I've worked on thus far was to provide technical support, manage the timelines on the project and all resources, from the initial stages of the project (pre-feasibility and putting together the business case) to the implementation of the project (commissioning, plant handover and tracking financial benefits of the project). My last full time working position was at Adams and Adams where I worked as a Candidate Patent Attorney, in the Pretoria and Cape Town offices. I am currently self employed, working towards rebuilding my start up scalp and hair care specialist business Hairmatology.
