I am a person who loves challenge, I am a teacher who cares about all students and trained to stretch the abilities of those who are believed to be backward or special. One of my key strengths is working hard to fulfill the vision of the institution. I always give my best. I have a positive outlook and try to make the best out of each day. I enjoy interacting with a number of people with the purpose of making the world a better place through education as an academic. I am a young enthusiastic academic professional. I am someone who believes in stretching someone’s ability to the fullest. I am a qualified teacher and a good teacher, in 2015 I was awarded for best Physical Science teacher by Nkandla circuit of education, as a result the municipality committed into giving me a chance to study further and today I have a Master in Education Degree (Curriculum and Educational Studies). Being a lifelong learner that I am I have applied for a PhD programme and I want to train African individuals who want to become educators. In my qualification I studied Inclusive Education, I am able to train teachers on about how to face challenges in a classroom where there are challenged learners, physically, psychologically or educationally. I did Education of the challenged 1 and 2. The institution may delight in keeping such a skill, I am computer literate since grade 10 of my high school education. The University of Zululand is an institution that encourages research work, I have done research as coursework and dissertation and I passed my course work above 80% and my dissertation above 60%, I am good in supervising students with research and also guide them with their academic writing. Experience is one of the ingredients of success in different activities that any man may take. I have been teaching since 2013, I have worked as a Mathematics, Physical Science, Natural science and Technology teacher for 4 years. I have worked as a lecturer for more than one year, South Africa (DUT) and Overseas, I am someone who have been exposed to training students and also in supporting them and assessing them in Integrated Learning (Practical). I am currently the Head of Department in a high school level, this is making it clear that I have leadership skills and my leadership skills maybe of help to the institution even if I won't be a leader because being a lecturer or a trainer is being a leader automatically. I have presented my seminars for free in south Africa and India to students’ teachers, one the seminar was on (Challenges in curriculum of Teacher Education) this is one of my important skills that the university will want to keep. I am currently heading two committees which are Sports and SBST (School Based Support Team - Focusing on helping and transferring students with serious challenges)
