Good day I’m a graduate from Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Journalism and Media Studies (Post-graduate Honours Level), having majored in Media Studies, Radio Broadcasting and Multimedia Storytelling. I am a meticulous and intelligent individual with a zealous work ethic. I am well spoken with good interpersonal skills, coupled with the initiative to lead when the task requires me to do so. The most recent example of opening myself up to new challenges is how within 5 months of being at True Love, I carved out and developed a work stream within the team that optimises multimedia and visual production to showcase the magazine’s content through various digital platforms. I went further to institutionalise the utilisation of digital content production by working closely with the various editors to underpin multimedia as a tool to amplify TRUE LOVE’s content in print, through the digital platforms. I am organized and efficient, able to juggle multiple tasks at once. I am a skilled Videographer, Editor, Writer, Photographer and Retoucher. I am experienced in CMS, DIVI builder, Adobe Premiere Pro,InDesign, Dreamweaver, Bridge, Lightroom and Audition. I am flexible and can adapt my writing style to the voice required for each project. Previous to my current role as TRUE LOVE’s Multimedia Journalist, as a member of a select group of the Media 24 Graduate Programme, I have produced online content for projects and campaigns. This included creating and producing content for social media, websites, YouTube and Live events through Facebook Live and Instagram Live.
